What age do you think is appropriate?

Im 13 (in yr.8) and ive found out yr.3s to yr.8's are already going out/dating... I found this weird, they kiss and all too. I think its far too young and if you dont go out with anyone some call you weird. Ive never been goin out in my life and wouldnt until im17 or 18. What do you think is an appropriate age to be going out.? Do you find this weird.? Thanks, polite appreciated! :D
